Interesting. I suppose if he doesn't see how he could get into the 1st round by the next draft, you could make up the couple two or three million you lose between the 2nd round and 3rd or 4th on the second contract. I would say this is a case where it makes sense to leave early if you aren't a 1st or 2nd round pick. RBs are getting picked less and less in the 1st round anyways and even having a better senior year at a G5 school might not improve his stock all that much.

NCAA doesn't care if another university uses their likeness. Student athletes have no rights in the eyes of the NCAA. Hell if Wyoming wanted to put up a huge billboard of Wentz saying he learned everything he knows from Vigen, they'd allow it. But if Wentz wanted to use his own likeness in a Bison uniform, automatic sanctions. They'd probably vacate his wins too.

I agree when they are/were students, but they are no longer students. Cw is his own brand, i would think cw or anyone could refuse to allow anyone the use of their namesake, especially if the university using it is one the athlete never attended.

I don't know. Using the WY logo and isn't that Vigen? Even if it's a fan that could still be a violation I believe.

I believe it was in direct correspondence with the recruit so not(?) a violation. The recruit himself shared the photo, not a member of the university.
