On the flip side if your the running back frim Wisconsin, would you be more impressed with a 30k seat stadium with 9k announced attendance with 6k fans in the seats during sub zero weather or a 19k seat dome (soon to be 20k hopefully ) with 20k fans and an electronic atmosphere? Depends on the person I guess

Specifically looking at this recruiting battle, RB Demaris Purifoy - Wauwatosa, Wisconsin (Wauwatosa West)
it is an interesting one.
- Wyoming already has a RB verbal in this years' class
- Leading rusher Shaun Wick (705 yards) is a JR.
- 2nd leading rusher Brian Hill (651 yards) is a FR - (remember that name from last years recruiting?)
- Just guessing here, but that looks like a strong chance of red-shirting, unless injuries or other factors happen
- Looking at John Crockett being a senior means you might think you can come in and compete
against King Frazier for the starting position..........just thinking aloud here...........
Purifoy will visit Wyoming soon, so the answer to this may come soon. (I think he also visits New Mexico)

This week WYO plays at New Mexico. WYO has several key players hurt and are playing to stay out of the basement of the Mountain division. I am not sure they are going to be able to win this one to finish the season. New Mexico 28 - WYO 17.

Minneapolis is only 90 miles closer to Cheyenne than Dallas.

Bohl is an idiot if he recruits Minnesota heavily. (snagging a few players isn't' heavily) Math lesson. It's closer to the Mexican border from Laramie than it is to Minneapolis. (I didn't actually check but it's close) The reason NDSU did well with Minnesota kids is it's an easy drive home and that helps with attrition. Bohl has already lost several players from "a long way away" including Daniel Vega. Denver should be the new Minneapolis for Bohl. Lots of talent. Nebraska would be smart. Oklahoma. Boise.

Wanna take a guess at the attrition rate NDSU had recruiting Texas? Outside of DJ and Holloway... more players didn't even show up than were successful. Actually I think we had more arrests than players who started a game. There is a reason we stopped recruiting Texas
