Hard to plan a date this early with winter possibly because they do practice outside too even tho the game is in the dome.

If it helps at all, the Fargodome is open every Saturday between March 29th and June 7th. So my guess is sometime in that time frame

Since 2007, the game took place between 4/21-4/30, with the exception of 2009, when it was on 5/10.

If I understand you right, it's a matter of the start of outdoor practices? Why not just set it late enough every year to be certain? Is it too late from a coaching / team development perspective?
