Will be interesting to see who is next at LB whether is Cardenas, Whalen, Kyle Jones or Kupp

Very very good. i think it was shockingly good especially how early we got some of our top prospects. Our camps have always been key. We get to really work with the kids, and see them first hand. We just killed it early. Holding on to them until they sign is critical. Trying to close strong at some key areas. Expect 2 RB's in this class, and we have yet to get one yet. They can be the toughest! We have a good shot at these last two! Hope we can get them. It is a fun time of the year. Just glad we aren't glued to the fax machine waiting for Juco's to sign. We are a deep football team, built with 4-5 year program kids. Kids have been waiting their turn. Next man up applies to injuries and graduation. We are reloading every year. Plus, it sounds like last year's class has done very well, and the kids that walked on have really turned some heads.
Everyone just relax, all right? Believe me, if there's one thing Ron Burgundy knows, it's women.

Any word on Nick Jensen (FB) out of Sartell MN?

He announced on Twitter yesterday that he is down to his Top 5 schools, and NDSU is one of them.

Anyone know if he has been offered scholarship money...or is he talking PWO?
I see he was a 2nd team All-Stater in MN.

Thanks for the comments. It has been fun to follow football recruiting. Since you mentioned running backs I think Purifoy would be a big win, going against some fbs schools and all

I will assume he is top FB on NDSU's radar. he really stood out to me at camp. Getting recruiting info from him has been impossible for me so happy to see he is reporting stuff on his twitter. He will be a very good college FB player.

EDIT- Was just told by a very good source all schools are PWO offers

All the early commits is awesome and has helped the staff focus on the season. Will be very interesting to see how they close it out. One thing to keep in mind about this staff is they are not going to reach, just to fill up the board on LOI day. The signings of Wimbush, Scott and Ware prove they will work non stop to find players who can make great Bison.

Coaches got a lot of their top targets early and are still in on other top targets at other positions. More importantly, the a lot of the guys I believe to be next in line are also still available.

Sams, Burgundy, do you expect a QB in this class and how is that coming along? Usually sign at least one every year.
Now this is the law of the prairie
As old and as true as the sky
And the Bison that keep it will prosper
And the Bison that break it will die
As the creeper that girdles the tree trunk
This law is the final word:
For the strength of the Herd is the Bison
And the strength of the Bison is the Herd.

Warning: It is the offseason. Trollolol may or may not be in full swing. Take a deep breath and eat a trolli burger before reading my posts.
