    Mostly. Here's the odd thing: If he's not recruited, comes to NDSU, and only gets non-athletic aid, then it doesn't count against the football limit. If he was recruited, comes to NDSU, and gets only non-athletic aid, then he only starts counting against the limit after he plays his first game. There's an easy flowchart you can follow on page 208 of the DI manual.

    Kind of a serious question. Has anyone been busted using academic departments to do their "recruiting" to skirt the rules?
