Congrats James....best of luck! I hope you are part of the turnaround at U of M !. Cant blame a kid for chasing his dreams.....I would rather play in the Big House in front of 109,000 fans than in Macomb in front of 919 fans!

Good for him. Was hoping the local angle would pull him in but some kids want to get away a little. Playing in games where national "tv" isn't an* and in the shoe, big house, camp Randall, kinnick, etc and maybe being part of another jerry kill miracle can't hurt either.

In all fairness to Western Illinois they typically average 10k so it's not THAT bad but the Gophers playing at the big house (2017) would be quite an experience. Good luck to him
