    Five-star athletes are fun to have, but are they five-star athletes because they have peaked in high-school (men playing among boys) or are they "freaks of nature" that can still be coached to another level? NDSU might not get any of these athletes, but they do an amazing job coaching their athletes up to another level, some that might be considered five-star athletes once they are done. Coaching is an invaluable talent.

    Yep. It's all about packing on the muscle on a skinny frame and teaching them to play football. That's the way we've always done it.
