All I can tell you is if you want uni's respect, you gotta earn it. I just assume uni has at least ONE national championship, therefore it is difficult to earn their respect.

Apparently 3 at the FCS level
3 at the college division level in the 60s (2nd highest level back then, same division as uni then)
And 5 at D2 doesn't garner respect

This website says none. They made the championship game once and did, however, become the first victim of Appy State in their run of three consectutive championships (2005).

Clearly that web site needs to do a fact check or something. There's no way a powerhouse like uni actually has zero national championships, what with all the painted cinder blocks and zamboni doors and such. I mean, shit, fellas, even un_ managed to fake some ndsu field passes and win a natty. Perhaps Capn Cat can come set us straight.

At football games, where cold temperatures are frequently an issue for fans, the UNIDome announcers have a tradition during pre-game rituals. The announcers will announce the weather in the town where the visiting team is from, and then will say "The temperature in Cedar Falls, no wind, 72 degrees, Welcome to the UNI-DOME!" to emphasize the fact that a domed stadium is not affected as much by the weather.

can the ndsu alumni/teammakers please set up their tailgating on the south field this year, last game at uni sucked because they were up north of stadium and the die hards from ndsu were down south. lets unify down south please.
