Lucky you. I was at the game and couldn't hear a word he said.

Me too. I hope there's a little of that 41 million earmarked for some audio equipment that doesn't really really really really suck.
Now this is the law of the prairie
As old and as true as the sky
And the Bison that keep it will prosper
And the Bison that break it will die
As the creeper that girdles the tree trunk
This law is the final word:
For the strength of the Herd is the Bison
And the strength of the Bison is the Herd.

I'm with you on this!!! From my seats the PA sounds worse than McD's...
SDSU coach John Stiegelmeier on NDSU intro video: "This is not meant to be North Dakota State's home game."

Pros also don't have near the wear and tear from practice, having only 14 full contact practices.

The video screen is also second rate at times.
Many thousands are in want of common necessaries; hundreds of thousands are in want of common comforts, sir."
Scrooge-"Are there no prisons?". "Plenty of prisons..."
Scrooge-"And the Union workhouses." . "Are they still in operation?". "Both very busy, sir..."
"Those who are badly off must go there."
"Many can't go there; and many would rather die."
Scrooge- "If they would rather die," "they had better do it, and decrease the surplus population."

They have played a lot of football for college kids agreed but to say a nfl schedule is less taxing is absurd..... I remember hearing a interview of Darrel Thompson some years ago and he compared nfl life to going to the end of your driveway running full speed Into your house getting up and repeating 30 times a day

I believe it, when I got to college I asked one of the upperclassmen what was practice/games like in college compared to high school. He told me to imagine what it felt like when I got hit the hardest I could remember in high school, and now that is going to happen every other play during practice and in games at college. So it seems obvious that the same jump would happen from college to the pros. You gotta remember that when you go to the next level (high school to college to pros) all guys at the next higher level are just as if not bigger-faster-stronger than the best guy at the level below.

    From the movie THE PROGRAM

Regent Chairman: This is not a football vocational school. It's an institute for higher learning.
Coach Winters: Yeah, but when was the last time 80,000 people showed up to watch a kid do a damn chemistry experiment? Why don't you stick the bow-tie up your ass?
