I know this may sound dumb...but what are the odds he goes back home and plays for mankato?

I mean...hes already been to the pinnacle of fbs by going to a bowl game. What else is there for him at the D-I level?

Are there any Mo Valley Teams that may be interested in him? What about Eastern Ill? Not sure what their QB situation would be...

Just because he was fairly highly touted coming out of high school and played for a Big Ten team doesn't mean other teams will be lining up to grab him. Have you seen him play? His completion percentage is right at 50%. TD to INT 8-8 in 2012 and 9-6 in 2013. I hope every other MVFC team is looking at bringing him in.

I actually was texting with a friend of mine who keeps his ear low to the ground in Gopherland and that's the prevailing rumor, that he does go home and play for Mankato. Not that playing for the Gophers is prestigious but it would be very sad to see a highly touted kid like Nelson graduate in the NSIC.

For the strength of the Herd is the Bison
And the strength of the Bison is the Herd.
