Downloaded and deleted just as fast, no Facebook for me

Just opened up the Bison Illustrated for Jan. There is a full page ad for Bison Tracker.
"The official mobile app for NDSU men's basketball"
Development Foundation and Alumni Association.

I think Id rethink this until it's fixed.

This came via team makers e mail. I seldom get mine in the mail before I pick one up at Hornbachers or Scheels.

Odd. While the basic layout seems the same as the link from the alumni assoc, the actual app content is quite a bit different. No links to social media that I can see. No tracker either.

a. Current: photo montage, countdown to kickoff
b. Alerts: nothing right now, probably scoring updates during the game

2. Team
a. Season: season schedule with results
b. Roster: roster w/ names, numbers, photos, position, class, H/W
c. Standings: MVFC standings
d. Poll: Coaches Poll (not updated with final reg season poll)

3. Plans
a. Gatherings: all watch parties from the NDSU AA webpage

4. Strobe (no music)

I have all that plus the tracker but in order to track you you need to sign in with Facebook, old app you could just allow it to track, put your name in and check in

The guy who made the last years app donated it to NDSU athletics I believe he's not even involved anymore can't even get it on Windows 8 phone now.

You can't get the old one anymore. The new one installs separately. Just go to the Microsoft Store and search for Bison Tracker. Though the Win8 phone version apparently doesn't include the tracking function.

I think the old one was custom made for NDSU. The new one appears to be a mass market product that is tweaked for each school.
