Thursday / Friday Air Travel to Dallas

Just watched news in which 600 flights in and out of Chicago were cancelled.

This potentially impacts travel tomorrow and Friday.

Let's post any notifications regarding flight changes the next two days.

I'm already considering rebooking Friday tickets through Denver versus Chicago connections I am holding.

Well, I'm speculating that I will be delayed.....my connecting flight from Chicago left an hour ago .....

If the airlines have travel advisories in their system due to weather they will allow you to change itineraries without fees. The key is the weather advisory has to be in their system. They will appreciate people doing this in advance rather than scrambling when the weather hits. Be flexible though because you could end up with some odd connections or different airlines.

Flights are horrible!!!!! We flew United to Denver and it in 3 hours late. Had to switch airlines because we missed our connecting flight, now that flight is up in the air. Weather and the Chicago debacle have made a huge mess of things.

I'm glad I got a direct flight from Fargo to Dallas on Friday.

Right now I only see available Friday flights that avoid minneapolis/ chicago are on different airlines.

Fargo/ Dallas weather appear to be okay, its whether planes will get to fargo due to Chicago impacts right now, but seems like today was the bad day, but Flights out of Chicago have already been cancelled for Friday (per NBC), I haven't seen Fargo delays yet.

Exactly, this is where more info the better. Because a few of the flights that are Dallas direct are new flights for the game, so the planes need to get here.

The 545 AA flight from Fargo to Chicago was Cancelled this afternoon. This flight had frisco goers on it.

Our flight is 5 hrs delayed because we're waiting for our plane from Chicago. Big pain in the ass.
