This is a great move if he is the QB coach. Anything higher than that and I am disappointed.

Randy Hedberg could be headed to NDSU as assistant coach
Monday, December 30, 2013 10:09 a.m. by Mike McFeely
I am hearing Randy Hedberg will be joining Chris Klieman's staff at North Dakota State, once the Bison return from the FCS national championship game in Texas.
Hedberg has been an assistant at Southern Illinois under Dale Lennon for six seasons. Hedberg was the Salukis' quarterbacks coach, the position he will likely fill at NDSU.
North Dakotans are familiar with Hedberg. He is a Parshall, N.D., native who played football, basketball and baseball at Minot State. A quarterback, he was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1977. He also played for the Oakland Raiders and Green Bay Packers.
Hedberg was an assistant coach and head coach at Minot State before becoming offensive coordinator/QB coach at Central Missouri State. From 1996-99, he was offensive coordinator at North Dakota.
Hedberg was head coach at St. Cloud State for nine seasons.
His bio at the Southern Illinois website touts his work with Saluki quarterbacks Chris Dieker and Kory Faulkner.
Dieker, who signed a free-agent contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2011, completed his SIU career ranked highly in several passing categories.
With Brock Jensen ending his Bison career Saturday against Towson and inexperienced Carson Wentz waiting to be the heir apparent (Wentz will head to spring ball as the favorite to be the 2014 starter, but will have to compete for the job), Hedberg will play an important role with the Bison.

This would be a very solid hire! I would welcome him to NDSU.
I think Tatanka would feel more comfortable if given the opportunity to scrub him down with a wire brush and some bleach upon entering the city limits.
