During the South Carolina game, ESPN had a bit on McGovern coming "from Fargo, the home of the Bison". Oh yeah, and that game averaged over 3,000,000 viewers. Nice publicity for NDSU from a SEC/hometown stud.

All Fargo people should show support for one of our own. Fargo Shanley grad Connor McGovern has started every game for Mizzou as a shophomore at RG. He's an absolute beast!!!

Would have been nice though. I've said it before on here I would guess several times. When I was a kid, I used to ask my dad if I should play for Notre Dame or NDSU, we always decided NDSU....and at a campfire in high school(Had Shawn Cahill's dad as a coach), I told my teammates I would throw a UND offer into the fire even if it meant I just went to school at NDSU. Anyone on here who has met me(few and far between) knows I am way too small and frail for that opportunity.

I can honestly say, IF I was good enough to merit offers, I would have been at NDSU
