Things have to play out with the super conferences before anything could even be considered. I think what happens will be dictated to NDSU more so than it will be a choice. Things will probably be pretty black and white once this happens. Status quo in FBS means stay where we are. Separation of the Big conferences probably means move into what's left of FBS which will essentially be FCS anyway.

Assuming the Mountain West is the Goal, NDSU would rank near the bottom in basketball attendance (if what I saw yesterday was correct). An FBS conference isn't just buying a football team, they are buying the entire package and basketball is a huge part of that.
