Tough Conference or Easy Trip to the Dance?

Denver has never made the tournament. Oakland has 3 times and they won a game in 2005.

Oakland is awful this year...with that said I wish they were still in the summit.

Sure, you guys seem to like their program. You know we've only been eligible for one year.

The plus of being in a tougher conference and making the tournament less often would be that the chances to when games in March would be much greater.

well denver was DII/NAIA for awhile and moved back up to DI in 98

When are we going to get out of the Summit? I'll probably get neg rep for this, but all the good teams have left and it looks awful right now.

Not to rain on your parade, but NDSU has been to the NCAA tournament once. I realize Oakland and ORU are gone, but seriously? This isn't FB, NDSU is not thought of as a powerhouse BB program.

Would I choose for SDSU to move? Depends on where. MVC or Horizon are the only "up" options available. Neither are going to come calling unless they lose more of their top members. Where else do you want to go? MAC? Sun Belt? Better make the Summit better (see DU's invite) because your only other real shot could be the Big Sky. Sorry, not interested.
