FCS Poll Record
I know we haven't been D1 for very long, but what is the record for most weeks spent at #1 of the FCS poll? I know we were #1 for portions of the Walker-Mays era and the Jensen-Williams era team has been at the top a bunch ass well. Are we even close?

I've wondered this as well. Anyone want to check these numbers? Obviously we were #1 all year this year and for a good portion of 2011 and 2012. I think 2006 was only for a few weeks but 2007 we were 10-0 until the Bunnies ruined our day; so I would think we had the top spot a lot that season. I would love to know the exact number of weeks we have been #1.

has there been any udpate on this? I know at one point I had heard this season was our 105th week on top of the poll. Does anyone know where to find this or care to do the offseason research?

In the AGS poll we have been #1 for 31 different polls since we joined FCS football.

During the tournament....was wondering if one of the App State teams or any other team went #1 in the poll wire to wire.

AGS is just one poll out there but since 2004 nobody but ndsu has went wire to wire. It's a pretty safe bet nobody else has done it during that time either.

I guess what I meant was the coaches poll as I feel like that is the most "official" and has been around the longest.
