Colton Heagle is probably my favorite current Bison player, but I have as much chance playing on Sundays as he does. Just lacks that elite athleticism you need at that level.

They are free safeties. Heagle is a strong safety. Dahl has some crazy speed. I read he put up the 6th fastest time in combine history at some long running drill. (Cant' remember what it was though) Dudziks has Dahl like speed, maybe better and is better in coverage than Heagle. He was a starting cornerback for a year and returned punts! Heck I think Heagle would laugh if they tried to put him at corner or punt returner! But Heagle is still a great college player. He's plays like a linebacker and is better in coverage than a linebacker. But at the NFL he would be too undersized to play linebacker and not fast enough to play safety. Just my opinion of one of my favorte Bison players. But who knows, maybe this offseason his knee gets better and he can work on agility. The knee injury set him back for a year. Well see! I hope I'm wrong. All I know is I'm glad he's a BISON for another year!!

I agree. I think he needs to work on his pass defense a little more in the offseason, but the guy has a nose for the ball and for his size is not afraid to drop the boom.

Dahl is a great athlete. At NDSU he ran the high hurdles for Lars in his spare time!
