On the second one, the ball is caught by the snapper who apparently is eligible as the receiver who faked the reverse was not on the line making the snapper the tight end. crazy

i like what oregon does on the PAT. They have two or three linemen in the middle with the Qb or kicker. Then they put Four guys way out to the numbers on the left and right and try to look for a number advantage somewhere. If not then they just got right to their extra point attempt. Florida did it last year vs Louisville and got 2 out of it

Someone will try this in the playoffs. No use in bringing it out right now as you want to catch them by surprise

It doesn't look like the defense was too affected by it. Maybe one or two guys but the rest probably didn't even know it was happening. They will have to put a new section in the box score where you mark down which team gave up their dignity for one more point.

This is similar to the basketball inbounds play where a player drops to all fours and barks like a dog.... classic!

Lake Park used to always run the 2nd formation against us, usually for an entire quarter or more.

It's called the "swinging gate" and it's be around for about 80 years. Oregon's set and the one in the second video from the link are both versions of it. It's an oldie but a goodie. Sort of hidden ball trick like, every once in a while you'll catch the defense napping and, as you point out, are able to exploit numbers in one section of the field.

We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie

That would so work against UNI. The guy acting like a monkey would start in motion though and they would all run over there yelling woohoo monkey party, we get to goof off just like in practice the last 4 weeks. Unfortunately we would never score because they would be called for off sides and we would get down to "half the distance to the goal on the 1 inch line"after the 4th or 5th time running it. maybe the refs would stop blowing the whistle and give us the yards on the kick off.

Someone should try it against the who, but they would probably just stand up and go. MOM????????
