Default The "Real Deal" Brock Jensen

"I felt lost at first," Jensen said of arriving on campus with his scholarship. "I questioned if I belonged here."

Some of the upperclassmen encouraged him and told him it would get better.

"You have to sell out and make a whole commitment to the program," Jensen said, offering advice to Waupaca players contemplating playing college football. "You won’t make it if you don’t."

Wait, so we have Mertens to thank for encouraging Brock to stick around as a freshman? Amazing, considering he was not the most popular man on campus. So Lakes was right all along! Great article btw.

Nice find, that's a great article. No wonder the Bison are so good with guys like that leading the way.

Not related to the article . . . If the bison make it a 3-peat, and Brock is not the Payton winner, that will be a wrong decision. Goropollo is the favorite otherwise, but how could you look pasta 3-timechamp?

The Walter Payton Award is awarded annually to the most outstanding offensive player in the Division I Football Championship Subdivision.

Winning 3 Nattys doesnt mean you are the outstanding offensive player in the FCS..

That idea represents all that is wrong with college football awards. Rewards are for individual performances for any given season.

Haven't seen this on here... was posted on Teammakers facebook page I believe. I heard there was some drama around NDSU this weekend... head coach opening or something?? Anyways might make a few packer fans cringe or maybe a few overly joyous! Never heard of this site (lombardi ave... obviously SI.com I have..) so guess you can take it as you see it!

On the second thought after googling the author... better take it with a grain of salt... a 2nd year grad student from Canada South, but is a NDSU football fan???
