Easton just needs to be Easton. Play some ball and let's win some games. The rest(NFL) will take care of itself if it is warranted.

Sure, Carson has raised the bar - not just for NDSU, but all of FCS football. If he does well in the next few years, he will disprove the FCS bias that we are so tired of hearing. Hopefully in the future, the next great FCS player to soar up draft charts will hear less of it.
Yeah, Easton doesn't need to be Carson; he just needs to improve. He had a great freshman year, one of the best ever for a QB at NDSU, and has the potential to get much better. I don't have any worries about his arm strength either... the kid can sling it.

I am a huge Easton fan, but his arm isn't crazy strong as he failed to make the cross field td pass to Wentz in the championship game.

Agreed. Easton is on a very good trajectory. Once again we are spoiled as fans in that we don't have the type of worries at the quarterback positions that most teams have. Our concern is basically can our undefeated 8-0 incoming sophomore QB eventually become as good a player as our recently #2 overall drafted QB. It's amazing any of us get any sleep at night.

If you watched the spring game you saw his improved arm strength.

Best part, for me, is he even led a comeback victory at Youngstown. That is what has me excited and has to terrify every other FCS team, maybe even Iowa. Thing about it: Jensen/Wentz/Stick This could be quite a run with QB's.

Glad my QB's have not gone up in smoke....

    (Granted, Sumner was very good.)

Dang wind caught that pass, which made Wentz's throws even more impressive.
    Hail the BISON!!!
