Obviously the coach, team and organization all suck, hence why he's 3rd string and not going to the pro bowl.
His growth in NDSU took a serious hit when Tim Polasek was the OC. If you watched the last two Chargers pre-season game , I dont know how you wouldn't be impressed by Easton. At this point he is more than ready to be a starter somewhere. He is moving the sticks very efficiently , all with his arms and only running if necessary.

If something happened to Herbert you better believe Easton is starting. I don't care what the depth chart officially says.

Yes. And I agree with the polisek thing.

We only won at Iowa because he didn’t think we could.

    And played traditional bison football.

Seems to me. Once he got that call and only had his car and his “golf clubs” of all “bisony” things to claim as his “only” possession…

Once he got the call he thought somebody already thought he knew football. And he was looking for a “stepping stone”.

Instead of learning the best brand of football known to man.

At least someone understands. You and RTO.

Just s long as they RUN bro. Pepper in the play action. I form. Power I.

Run them into the fucking ground.

BUT I DO QUESTION WHY THE FIRST TIME EASTON IS RUNNING THE OPTION IS IN THE FUCKING NFL.

PS. I HATES the way NDSU “won” the ISU championship. If EASTON had started and the game plan was for him.

    No contest.

It was “fun” to see what Carson could do with his back against the wall against some tricky run option offense.

But make no mistake. Our plan fucked the defense hard. And Easy Esley Thorton was the “quarterback” that won that game for NDSU when they NEEDED IT.

And don’t you forget. They NEEDED it.

Or did everyone forget the actual ending of that game?

    Defense wins championships.

    Football 101

    Bison football 501 master class.

    At least it should be.

I think Easton gets that. Esley did.
