The best part about this is NDSU got their QB for this class and can now focus more on other important needs. Plus it gives a clear signal to some other QB's in the area who thought they might be next in line for NDSU offer if Easton went elsewhere.

I am excited for the future. Time to move on to running back, defensive end, corner back, left tackle, and middle linebacker depth.
Its good for other qb like you said. Must be tough for a kid to have a scholarship on the table waiting to see if we get our #1 target. Big trickle down effect

Sorry Derek McGinnis...I feel bad now but yet pumped for Stick!

I think it is very premature for any one of us to assume a yet unsigned recruit will automatically beat out someone already on the team. Lakes annointing Mertens the next coming of Jesus as a star QB when he signed to the Bison comes to my mind as a prime example of such a mistake. Besides, I hear Derek did a wonderful job lighting up the secondary as a scout team QB.

Awesome news for Bison Nation and congrats to Mr Stick!!!

I am not quite ready to pass the torch yet. We will now have 4 quarterbacks on the roster next year, with Wentz as the heir apparent. I have not heard how McGinnis and Davis are progressing, but assume at least one of them is doing well and could play for us once Wentz is gone.

Exciting day, but it could be a long road for Mr Stick to see the field IMO. Kid has sick ability though....
