Nobody knows that yet. He's definitely not someone you build your team around at this point though. He hasn't done anything to earn that designation. He's most likely a career backup but you never know if given a chance. Tom Brady and Drew Brees were never expected to be franchise quarterbacks and they are two of the best who have played in the last 20 years.

Good points. Who knows if he will succeed but I still think he most likely isn’t ready now.

Brees was a decent prospect. First pick of 2nd round. Michael Vick draft IIRC. Chargers had the #1 overall and traded it to Falcons. Chargers took LT at #5 and Brees at #33.

Brady? yeah, well no one saw that.
