Homerism aside, it's Stick every time. Not even close.
Im taking Jerimiah Briscoe, Bo Levi Mitchell and John Robertson. Change my mind.

    Wow.
    Hodges: 70.5% completion rate, 4283 yards (7.8 ypa) 32 TD / 16 int. 90 rushing attempts for 313 yards (3.5 ypc) 8 TD

That's not even Briscoe stats? And Stick's 40 td's came in the Valley.

    Utter horseshit.

Hodges lost to a very shitty Florida State team, a very shitty Mercer team (at home) a very shitty Citadel team and got his ass kicked by Kennesaw. I mean, letting NDSU win the Walter Payton, Buchanon and national championship is a little much because we all know Cox is the best defender in the country...but sheesh...call a spade when its an obvious spade you dumbfuck voters.

I meant from this year's Payton finalists.

Not really though. I could see that argument for Briscoe (despite playing in a subpar conference himself) but not Hodges.

Stick below Burks is an absolute joke. I guess Burks is more of a feel good story from an up and coming program?

Ya its a tough sell for me when the supposed best offensive QB in the entire FCS has a career win % south of 60% and never won a single playoff game in 4 years

But any thoughts of Stick winning this were just hopes and dreams.

The Walter Payton Award would have been nice, but I'm fairly positive it's not the trophy/award he wants the most this weekend:

I expect big things for Stick and Co. tomorrow as do they from themselves:

    Hail the BISON!!!

Stick lost out to a guy that was career 27-19 and no playoff wins

Hodges had a 32-16 td/int ratio with 5 TD against some school called Shorter?? that got outscored its first 4 games 230-30.... Stick was 26-5 so basically the same stats as Hodges in Non SHORTER matchups... I guess next time we need to schedule U of Mary and pad our QB stats...
