Easton even looked good last preseason.....I can't at all figure this out. Hope they deal him.

For the experts out there, is this likely the kind of deal where they can cut Daniels before the regular season without too much damage? If so, I guess I can understand.

Being a wiley old veteran mentor QB is the best gig in the NFL... saw on Twitter that Daniel has earned $158k for every NFL (regular season) pass he's attempted. That's pretty impressive for a guy going into his 13th NFL season.

I personally don't think Kyler Murray is going to make it in the NFL and think he's really stupid for turning down the offer from the A's. But my question is how much of a difference is there between Murray and Easton?

I looked the Chargers still have Chase Daniel on their roster. It has to be possible he doesn't make it out of training camp.
