    Carson had the measureables though.

Yes, he did. And Easton does not. That's why I think Easton isn't a number one pick. Or a number 40 pick. Maybe he'll be a number 200 pick. If so, great!

Your question has been answered if you read the previous posts. Excuse me now while I go beat my head against a brick wall.

His arm isn't insane, but he can throw deep pretty well. He doesn't have a noodle arm by any means.
Throwing deep is not where arm strength is really judged. It's the quick out route where you have to have zip on the ball and throw it on a rope. Easton's arm is adequate, like I said average for the NFL.

Is it just me, or is WeAreThePride making him/herself look kind of dense here? Not that I have a dog in the fight. But still sometimes fun to call out ignorance (willful or otherwise). Hopefully WeAreThePride sees his/her folly and swallows the pride. :-)

I agree that he doesn't have Carson zip on those throws. You can do well in the NFL with an average arm if you have the QB smarts. I think hesitation has been Easton's killer in college. He needs to develop a little more on his reads and judgment in general, but you can carve out a nice career as even a backup in the NFL (aka Chase Daniel). I hope he develops into a starter though. I think he has that potential.
