You would think a team like the Patriots would be all over trading for a guy like Stick. Their offense is all about having a smart QB.

LA Times has an article this morning on the Chargers QB situation. After going through the obvious draft options and Tyrod's readiness, it concludes:

"The Chargers drafted Stick because they liked his potential and his production at North Dakota State, where he won three national titles. As a late-round pick, he could develop into at least a dependable NFL backup, something the Chargers will give him an opportunity to do."

They also peg Tyrod's 2020 salary at $7.5 million and Easton's at $775,000.

I saw a mock draft with Tua going to the Chargers

This would be good because he is made of glass and Stick will definitely be kept around

I think the Charger execs are being honest when they say they're comfortable with Tyrod. Of course, they might still bring in a draft pick to challenge Easton, but that's to be expected. Or, I may be way off base.
