In regards to OL, I don't know what their top end speed is. The 40 yard dash isn't that much of a distance and when watching the combine (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_6-VZoVv7JU), I can only guarantee the few that come within the average 17 MPH are going to hit a higher top end speed based. When you look at the 40 yard dash number for most of the OL, their numbers aren't good enough for them to help Underoos' statement that the majority of OL can hit 17 MPH as a top speed. From the numbers I found for 2015 combine, the average 40 yard dash time for OL was 5.2955, which comes out to be 15.45 MPH. So that's the average time for the best OL prospects in the nation. Add in the numbers for the average to bad OL that don't participate at the combine, my guess the chances get worse.

In regards to running "17mph instantly when running a 40," where did I claim that? I just showed that 17 MPH is not considered slow and used the most common measure of speed in football to correlate the speed of players we find fast. Heck, most common treadmills you find at a gym don't go that fast.

    Again, your brain is slow.
You went from top speed to avg speed over 40 yards. It’s not complex. A top speed of 17 is absolutely glacial.

Cool, you post more numbers and have no idea what they indicate.

I know what they mean, you're just struggling to figure your way out of an argument you can't win - again. I predict the sophomoric insults to begin soon to change the subject.

Question for you. Have you ever been paid to perform statistical analysis?

Yes, but what I've been paid to do is irrelevant, and that type of argument usually means the one saying it is looking for an easy way out. I've proven to you that 17 MPH, top speed or average, since Manning did both, is fast for a human being. You haven't brought anything, let alone statistics, to prove your opinion that 17 MPH for a human being is SLOW. The last article I posted, showed statistics (by other people who get paid to it) that 17 MPH is actually pretty good for an NFL player.

Perhaps you can bring in bell curve that shows where 17 MPH is SLOW. If one were to exists, my guess it would be in the top 90%.

Also, what kind of speed your favorite man-crush, Ratatouille, have? Going off this website (http://www.draftscout.com/ratings/ds...2016&genpos=FB), he had speeds of 12.864 MPH in the 10 yard dash, 15. 265 MPH in the 20 yard dash and 18.18 MPH in the 40 yard dash. Didn't you use to brag about his speed along with his weight-lifting ability?
