Great to see Stick getting drafted. Hopefully he gets some playing time in his first year. One can never really get the measure of a draft-pick until you actually see him on the field playing. Where I live, those who had seen Stick play in the FCS title game said he would never get drafted because of his height. Glad to see they were wrong on that one.

If Stick was 3 inches taller, I think he would have gone in the 2nd round.

My point is that Stick's height did effect his draft stock. His tape showed enough to get drafted in the 5th round. Not being prototypical size is what I think prevented interest from enough teams from driving up his draft stock into a day 2 pick. His lack of arm strength gets mentioned a lot, but I think it's more his height. Purely my opinion though.

Maybe a good pair of platform shoes would "elevate" Stick's game to a "higher" level.
