I vividly remember all of that! I also remember Carson mentoring Easton in 2014 and 2015... Just like Easton has mentored the younger QBs during his time as QB1... I know we currently have a QB competition, and that is a good thing -- whoever is named the starter is going to be ready to continue the dynasty going.

Lance and Noland have to be seeing a future NFL draft chance. The QB competition is going to be fierce.

I dont remember what Easton did that game vs Adderly. I know Cox had like 2 pick 6s in the first 5 min, and the game was over in 5 min.
Mel kiper piped up to say n.adderly had 12 tackles vrs the Ndsu bison that day
Ndsu rb must have been running free in the secondary all day lol

    Did he mention the score?
The only reason some people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

He should get a reasonable signing bonus - so I would say he has a great start to his career!

NFL Draft Contracts: Rounds 4 -7
    Round Total Value Signing Bonus
    Round 4 $3,324,499 to $3,006,531* $804,499 to $486,531
    Round 5 $2,868,832 to $2,753,988* $348,832 to $233,988
    Round 6 $2,728,511 to $2,647,353* $208,511 to $127,353
    Round 7 $2,631,885 to $2,594,288* $111,885 to $74,288

Agreed that "Carson's injury situation" is a factor.
A great QB when healthy, but a history (collegiate and NFL) of injuries. From last year, it sounds like he is learning to manage risk on the field - when considering a run, but also in unloading the football - and perhaps is learning how to get tackled. Rules changes the last few years help him.

IMO Easton will have to reassess his running game for the NFL if he wants to stay healthy (minimize chance of injury). I have been amazed at how durable Stick is - I have seen a few nasty tackles of him - but NFL defensive players are faster and bigger than what he has seen.

All that - best wishes to both of them. I hope they both have good NFL careers and retire w/o any major injuries or concussions.
