Ledyard is associated with the Draft Network LLC. They were the main organization that was bashing Stick at the Shrine practices. Seems like they made up their minds about him from those practices. I haven't seen them refer to any of Easton's tape. Compare that to a guy like Chris Kouffman who has fallen madly, deeply in love with Easton's tape. I think Easton falls somewhere in between.

Noticed the same thing about the Draft Network LLC "analysts." By the way, WTF is a Draft Network LLC? I mean seriously, if you actually are any good at analyzing NFL talent you are employed by an NFL team... not pushing your analysis through social media. The whole "Draft Twitter" subculture is bizarre -- filled with kids still in high school who instead of actually playing the game of football, are holed up in their mom's basement offering up their "expertise" and "hot takes" to unsophisticated idiots.

I personally am going to trust the process, and expect Easton will wind up in a great organization! Hopefully as a draft pick. Easton is a winner -- things work out for him!

Haven't read any posts in ages. What's going on in here? Complete shitshow no doubt. Off season lit.

You’re making me laugh, and I think you are dead on. Especially about Easton. That kid is just a winner. I wouldn’t be at all surprised that his ultimate position in the NFL is “owner”.

If his 2017 playoff mustache is any indication then Stick has a long ways to go in order to reach Edelman levels of playoff beard-itude...

Here's a recent article of an interview with Saint's Coach Payton about his viewing of McSorley as a possible Edelman-like player from the combine: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...julian-edelman

    Combine Comparison:

    McSorley: 4.57 (40 yd), 33in (vertical), 115in (broad jump), 7.09s (3-cone), 4.12s (20yd shuttle)
    Stick: 4.62 (40 yd), 33.5 (vertical), 118in (broad jump), 6.65s (3-cone), 4.05s (20yd shuttle)

    Measurables:

    McSorley: 6'0", 202lbs, 31" arms, 9.13" hands
    Stick: 6'1", 224lbs, 32.13" arms, 9.25" hands

Have to think this article came to be because McSorley is more well-known to the coaches, but when their staff digs down, Stick has to stand out when looking for that next utility, Edelman-like player.

Is Easton willing to switch positions? I've never heard him talk about that, you'd think he'd do whatever it takes to make an NFL roster.

I would guess that's only going to be addressed once absolutely necessary. Stick and his camp want no part of leading that discussion since any talk of that automatically brings doubt on his ability to make it as a QB. Just imo.
