Imagine this, when Stick.s career is over, he becomes NDSU's qb coach.

And I believe in 2(?) more years he jumps to the next level in the pension plan and is guaranteed 6 figures for life.

Some say it's a backward place. Narrow minds on a narrow way, but I make it a point to say. That that's where I come from.

Has to be 59.5 years old before he can collect the NFL pension.

Contract is up, correct? No doubt he has shown enough flashes someone is going to bring him in as a potential backup.....crock of shit he is not #2 right now.

So, just reviewed Easton's contract situation here (hoping accurate; found another site that was clearly wrong):

    https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/los-ange...n-stick-29214/

Looks like he is under contract next year, but the Charger's could save close to a million if they cut him after this year.

So, then I went and looked at Chase Daniel's contract here:

    https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/los-ange...e-daniel-7081/

He is a UFA next year.

So, while I assumed the Charger's would cut him loose after this year, maybe I'm wrong. His contract would be a pretty good bargain if they think he has what it takes to be #2 and costs them nothing to move on from Chase Daniel. Not to mention, then you don't have to overpay for a backup, have a guy already who knows the system, and you would not even have to extend Easton in case it does not work out as a #2. It is close to zero risk for the Chargers unless they don't like him, but then why did they keep him on the roster.....they clearly like him. Thoughts?
