Chargers are supposedly on Hard Knocks this season. Let’s hope we have a season.

Watched it last night. It's a Chargers/Rams combo Hard Knocks.
Wonder if we'll see anything about Stick? Chargers have a QB battle between Taylor and Herbert, so maybe we will.

Local coverage here is exclusively Tyrod vs. Herbert, Easton is completely off the radar. Today's article in the LA Times did talk about Herbert's struggle to learn an NFL offense quickly, with no preseason action, and how that may delay his eventual appearance in a game....and I'd say that could create an opportunity for Mr. Stick, if things go a certain way.

    Typical bias against FCS players.

Maybe its a bias against 5th round draft picks in the context of a seasoned veteran and first rounder. But yeah, you could be pissed off about some conspiracy that you are sure is happening. Seems logical.
    Insert something clever here...

What percentage of charger fans even know what the FCS is, let alone Stick played in it?

    That's my thinking.

Taylor has been around awhile. Journeyman high-level backup. Herbert is a top 10 pick. You don't draft those dudes to sit on the bench for very long.

I wouldn't worry about Stick too much. He's got a great gig. Gets to call himself an NFL player without having to get hit lol. Hopefully he sticks around the league.

I don't know how much of this is true. But seems like Easton is slightly ahead in the Chargers QB battle. All I have is random tweets saying this, but a man can hope! How cool would it be to have 3 starting QB's in the NFL? Easton, Carson and Trey next year.

One of the biggest takeaways from Sunday was the lackluster offensive play by both the first and second-team offenses. There were talks about a quarterback battle between Tyrod Taylor and first-rounder Justin Hebert, but today Easton Stick was the best quarterback. Granted, he played the second and third-team defense, but he made plays.

Stick was able to move well into the pocket and spread the ball around to tight end Donald Parham, running back Darius Bradwell and others. There was a play were Stick moved to the left looked up, saw no one open, so he took off running for a gain of 15-20 yards. A couple of plays later, Stick scrambled yet again and outran defenders for another 15-20 yard gain. Stick finished the drive off with a beautiful back-shoulder touchdown pass to receiver Dalton Schoen.
