How many years did Easton sign with the Chargers?

from what I can find all 5th rounders sign 4 year contracts.

You can almost guarentee the Chargers draft a QB next year as well. Rivers is getting old and they may have a nice sit in the draft if they keep tanking. Cannot imagine they dont draft another QB this off-season.

Not really...DJ McNorton played LB at NDSU. He's helping the team as needed. Shows a lot of character, which isn't surprising.

The tweet makes it sound like it was a temporary desperation move as opposed to a requested position change (aka the Titans asking DeLuca to play TE)

I dont think so at all. Easton's not going to play this year and if the team is so thin at bodies, you do what needs to be done. Its impressive he is fast enough to simulate an NFL safety

It doesn't say anything. He is the third string QB, he is probably not going to be active for any games this year, he is probably not getting hardly any reps in practice and the team needs help somewhere and he jumped in to do it. Just tells me that he will do whatever it takes to help a team win.
