Following a legend has pros and cons. It doesn't seem as though the LA market has embraced the Chargers like they embraced the Rams (pretty sure they struggle to sell out a 35k seat soccer stadium) so he won't have the pressure he'd have in a place like New England. But a potential downside is that Rivers has started 208 straight games and is one of the most stubbornly competitive players in the league so there's a possibility that he goes all Favre-ian and just keeps playing and playing. Of course if Stick has shown to be a quality backup by the end of his rookie deal in 4 years he'll get a shot somewhere else but I think the fit all depends on Rivers.
Finally now I can get work done! Congratulations Easton!!
Run the damn ball!! PRO FBS
I guess ndsu is officially a qb school now
Last 3qbs have had 2 drafted and one free agent... Not too shabby
Congrats to Easton!
Philadelphia would have been my choice once the Patriots were off the board. Given Carson's injury situation and how well the two work together.
I think LA can be a good situation though. We know the kid will give it his all.
