North Dakota State, a football team the big boys of college football should avoid like the plague, helped christen a $90 million renovation to Snyder Family Stadium — including a statue of famed Kansas State coach Bill Snyder himself — by taking a sledgehammer to the place.Bob Lutz, The Wichita Eagle, August 30th, 2013
Based purely on a win loss basis, K-states season will leave Bison fans disappointed, but imo they are still making NDSU look good. They easily won their other non-cons and are playing ranked Big 12 teams tough (without Lockett or Thompson) Based upon how they stack up against Big 12 competition without a healthy squad, there is not a Big 12 team this year that NDSU couldn't beat (though there are a couple games there that would scare me a little). This is a combination of NDSU being really good and the big 12 being weak...last years version of the big 10 and maybe worse.
KSU could easily be a 1 loss team so far this season. I really think their utilization of Jake Waters and Dan Sams has hurt their offense. All their losses have been close. And all of them came late in the game. Bad "finishers" this season.
