Which is why he should should either 1) stand by his statement, defend what he said and leave it at that or 2) not make it in the first place. I'm not looking at his twitter account, I saw his statement and yeah, it's no big deal. That's his opinion and it''s fine. I'm sure it's got a bunch of Bison fans calling him an idiot and to go have sexual intercourse with himself, etc, etc. But you said it, now back it up. Own it. But instead I guess he closed it up and ran away from it. In fact him leaving the twitter account active makes us look worse as a fan base so in that aspect I'm glad he deactivated his account.

Agreed...The part that pisses me off the most is that NDSU's Facebook page fueled these dumb comments...If they don't post the Tweet, I bet 1/4 of the people see it...That's not to disparage the others who found and retweeted the comments in the first place, but it is what it is...He was cocking off to his 80 or so followers who are probably his teammates and friends. The "outside" people that made a point to go to his Twitter page and cock off make Bison fans look stupid.
