In the espn conversation box a uni fan goes into a paragraph about his trip to fargo and how nice everyone was and he now loves fargo.

I'm glad to see this. We have traveled to UNI every year and have enjoyed visiting with their fans. They have always tried to be gracious hosts, just as we try to be. I was surprised to see negative comments from a visitor- but I'm sure from the looks of the pictures in another thread most had a good time.

I met these UNI folks at the Candlewood saturday morning. Most are parents and family of players, and the nicest people you could ever ask for. They couldn't get over the tailgating and how respectful Bison fans are. Even after the game, both myself and "westriverbison" visited with these folks, then after that I took a few of the guys out to a local watering hole to meet Bison Nation at night!

Be careful, thundarsdaddy. There are elements on this board that don't want the UNI fan base to be humanized.

This was actually the best game that NDSU and UNI have played since the series resumed; I can't comment on the many before then because I never saw them. Both teams played hard and with skill. Physically it was pretty even: I think UNI had an edge in the athletic plays but NDSU showed better conditioning as the game wore on. Mentally, UNI was pretty strong but NDSU was stronger. A heartbreaker for UNI, but not a loss we feel too bad about because NDSU did deserve it.
