If theres one thing Ive learned about watching Bison football the last few years in particular...I now tell myself if its close or we arent playing well...wait until the second half. Nobody makes adjustments like we do...AND we usually start to wear their line down at some point.

This is absolutely true. I tried to remind everyone in the Gameday thread that the game wasn't over even though it was the second quarter. Yes, we are down 13-0, but one score (even a FG) and we'll be fine in the second half. You could see #98 not getting as much pressure by the end of the first half, so you knew the running game would come eventually. I even texted someone at halftime saying the game will come down to conditioning in the 4th quarter.

As long as we don't hand the oponents touchdowns (pick 6's and special teams mistakes), I like our chances against anyone.

At the risk of sounding pompous, I'm not sure how much better UNI could have played Saturday. What I do know is that this Bison team did not play up to their typical Bison gameplan (mainly taking care of the ball), yet still found a way to squeak by. I know UNI had a hand in it, but if the Bison play up to their full potential they don't let the opponent get in a position to force you into a mistake. I'm very optimistic about what this team can accomplish from this point forward!
