I do agree with that to an extent but I don't ever want to see conference teams reach our level of success regardless of who goes where because I'm a Bison fan. If the Bison moved conferences I wouldn't even care about the MVC. I love Olson but if he hadn't been a Bison I wouldn't be following or caring about his career.

Hope he gets to drive that sweet TRUCK at the 50 yard line someday.

cmon NDSU athletics. Get Grant Olson back to NDSU, this is embarassing.

im sorry Grant is good, but he alone is NOT going to bring them to NDSU's level, they with their facilities and support could be an occasional contender, and I would like to see them rise from the bottom and be a regular decent opponent

Lets remember he is not the HC

No, but I don't want to see their defense improve too much. We still have to play them. This is why I was/still am bummed to see him working for a division opponent

True and I have no idea what they have coming back but coaching is a great start and I think they got a winner. Look at the turnaround the new Missouri St. coach (and yes that was a HC not a position coach) had last year mostly with the same players. They went from a D3 dumpster fire to a fairly tough D1 team that likely goes .500 or better in most other FCS conferences
