    Agreed 100%
The problem is the big money cachet schools won't let that happen but I like the "We dare you" angle. Heck, two losses at LSU gets a coach fired with a 70%+ winning record. The wins were simply not against the "right" teams and the losses were definitely against the wrong teams (in LSU-speak, that is any team.)

We COULD roll over and just give up because the best is behind us. OR... we could continue winning and driving forward and finding the next nugget of exposure or experience a paradigm shift (which may or may not include a move to FBS) that opens a door to bigger possibilities.

No matter how you look at it, though, the exposure and publicity NDSU and the football team have garnered is pretty cool. Whether we maintain the same level of enthusiasm for the program if the publicity does diminish is up to us as fans. I'm not saying we shouldn't do our part to challenge the leadership and to generate ideas, but if you get bored with winning another championship or two... that's on you. I guarantee that it's still just as exciting for the players who experience it as the first championship was. The players have to work just as hard (or arguably even harder) to maintain that level of success as the previous teams have. And the reward is just as sweet.

For my part, I'll stay excited about the program and the players and the team and show my support both financially and as a fan in any way I can. I remain confident that Bison football still has room to grow. I don't know how yet, but I'll trust the leadership and offer my two cents when and where I can.
Great post!! I'm with you and just as excited as ever. Go Bison!

I agree. I think too many are way to worried about exposure, publicity etc to satisfy their own ego.

When it comes right down to it my concern is for the team to win the next play. My donations go for that one purpose, to give them the resources---to win the next play. Its really that simple. And I dont give a shit what division that play is won in.

I agree with this. I very much feel like the rich guy that no matter how much they have, they always want more and more and more. I think that is exactly what some of us struggle with when things like Gameday not coming happen even if irrational for any more "normal" fan.

I don't care how the vote ended up. They still suck and always will.

They're damn near just following Tennessee around this year. 3rd time they're on Gameday in the first 6 weeks (although only once in Knoxville).
