    Both teams hold 4 fingers in the air most of the time, so this is not specific to ndsu. Everybody doez it, but by all means, i hope everyone that does it continues. After the first 40 seconds of 4th quarter 4 finger silence, a traditional song could be played. Tbe two concepts are not exclusive.

    Love the four finger tradition, it is kind of like the calm before the storm. Besides, I am usually exhausted by that point and appreciate the break. It's not easy being a Bison Fan you know.

Some might continue to hold 4 fingers in the air throughout the break, and some might partcipate with the cheer team, would you agree? Would such a move be disrespectful to the tradition?
