I like the T-A-M-P-O-N cheer better myself.

I would assume they give more than 6 hrs notice. Curious what the turnout is like

I get that but I personally still think it's stupid. Now if it were in conjunction with a pep rally to get ready for each game, then that's a different situation. In fact, I wonder how well a Friday night pep rally would be attended, especially before big games.

Now saying this, the school that I work at has had pep rallies for the last 4 years before big games and our team has lost them all. The only time we won any big games were when we didn't have a pep rally.

May be they were wearing the wrong color jerseys?
If we concentrated on the really important stuff in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles"

When you play football, you gotta like the taste of blood, And 50 percent of the time, it's your blood.

It is characteristic of the unlearned that they are forever proposing something which is old, and because it has recently come to their own attention, supposing it to be new.

I get more pumped up going out to the bar the night before, or preparing tailgating goodies, than fighting parking for a pep rally.

Yeah I heard that if you get new jerseys, you're guaranteed to lose! (Purple)
