The Good and the Could Be Better Observations from Game 1

I for one have not bought in that the Bison could compete against middle of the road FBS schools. I am wrong, obviously they can.

How could was this KSU team? I see the grantland guys have them at 61 in their FBS rankings, previously they were 49. How does this compare to EWU win? Is Oregon State a better team.

I am not saying any of this to criticize, but really want to know where the Bison would fall. Are they a top 25 team? I don't know.

KSU had 10 starters back on offense but lost Klein. 2 starters back on defense. Lost in the Fiesta Bowl 35-17 to Oregon. Oregon State brought back 14 starters. 7 on both sides. Lost in the Alamo Bowl to Texas. Lost 48-24 to Oregon.

I think KSU will likely finish 5th or 6th in the Big XII. Oregon State about the same. I see them finishing 4th in the Pac12 North. Tough to say
