No proof. It all depends where the decibel meter is located. From what I hear its louder on the field since the sound is funneled towards it. I would be willing to bet if they made a public push and strategically places the meter, we could break the record

Well the 119 during Geo Southern was on the field (I don't recall where the person was standing but they were standing on the field). I agree the field would be the loudest and obviously in the corner where student section is. Would be interested to find out... should email GT and get someone on this for playoffs!

Anyone else notice on the Fargodome wiki it says it is the home of NDSU football and softball??....
