NDSU Bison Football Mt. Rushmore

I saw Pro Football Talkis picking the 4 best/most influential people for each franchise. Who would be on Bison Mt Rushmore? We could get a poll going after narrowing the options down to 10 or so. Just throwing out a names in no particular order. I know I probably forgot many that could be considered.

Not sure if they are the same but Pro football talk is doing the mt rushmore thing too. They left Bud Grant off the Vikings one. ridiculous.

Steve Nelson (all american, had tackle record when he left, played in NFL 10+ seasons)
Jeff Bentrim (three natties, four title games, first Harlon Hill winner)
Phil Hansen (all american, two natties, 10 seasons in NFL)

Almost impossible, isn't it? I don't even know if I could pick four coaches... (Mudra, Rocky, Bohl, Wacker?) In some programs its pretty clear, but NDSU's longest serving coach was Casey Finnegan (12 seasons?) Coach Bohl and Rocky have each coached 10 seasons, btw, and they're tied to second.

As for players, I couldn't even pick four guys from the current team - but that's the strength of the Herd, right there. Might has well just have NDSU's Mt. Rushmore be four different helmets.

Or narrowing down to just showing 4 national championship trophies, but I don't even know how easy that would be. But at least that's a problem we have.
