2 - A loss to a team within the conference that was within a score or two at halftime, regardless of final score.
"UND went toe-to-toe in the first half. If ______ hadn't _______, we would've won that game easily." (i.e. 'the refs' & 'screwed us', 'Joe Blow' & 'gone off for 40pts', etc.)
3 - A blowout loss to a much better team, where they looked competitive either in the very early going or when their starters were playing the other team's second unit
"There was no way we were going to beat ________, they're (contending for a championship/a Top 25 team/going to be a Top 25 team/too talented), but we went toe-to-toe (for the first quarter/for the first five minutes/in the second half).
4 - Five seconds of competent play in any loss.
"__________ went toe-to-toe with _______________ in the (second half/first half/last five minutes/some other arbitrary unit), and owned him.
Are these questions on the Wonderlick for SDSU??????

When you play football, you gotta like the taste of blood, And 50 percent of the time, it's your blood.
It is characteristic of the unlearned that they are forever proposing something which is old, and because it has recently come to their own attention, supposing it to be new.
