There's an Android app for almost everything. People manage to overcome the hurdle.

Now that I'm at my computer keyboard I can elaborate on my mention of NeuLion. Everybody ripped the service up and down on here and nobody took it personally. I don't care who's fault it is that this wasn't ready in time for the GameDay app to be retired, it wasn't and that leaves me out in the cold. This seemed an appropriate forum for comments about an app that is supposed to be coming from the Athletic Department.

First of all let me say I appreciate what it takes to develop this and anyone volunteering anything should be commended. I work with volunteers and many things would never get done without them. Here comes the but- I downloaded the app in KS at the introduction. I have never gotten it to work on my I phone 5. I finally gave up. I am not computer illerate but it made me feel that way.

Can I ask what features you are expecting for the app to be "complete" and "useful"? I believe I have every feature the old GameDay app had and many more.

I don't have suggestions for additional ideas (bad person to ask that my creativity level is about the size of an ant brain). I was just explaining to the impatient droid heads that the app we have isn't a "full functioning" (by that I mean the tailgate following etc has a placeholder but technically isn't up and running unless I'm missing an update or not using it correctly??) app yet either. Also haven't really used it a whole lot. (speaking of is it going to have basketball/volleyball etc on there I think the old one did if I remember right although very limited, I guess that could be my suggestion/idea! )

Don't take that as a slam against what you've put out. I enjoy it (especially since I'm a Windows Phone user and would never go back to droid ) for what it currently is and the realization of what it can become. In other words keep up the good work. I'll patiently wait for it unlike others on here. Being a windows phone user I have had to patiently wait for apps for other items to come up so finally it's someone else's turn.

it was glitchy with the first sign in, I had to sign in (failed apparently...) closed the app. reopened it and signed in again. This time appeared to sign and but didn't go anywhere (may ahve just been a traffic thing at the time) closed it again and opened it and it worked for me.

There is an update out on it maybe it will help resolve your problem.

I will agree that the "perception" of the average Joe doesn't really care who, why, or how. They just want it to work, like other schools. Its a unique situation with the timing and it makes me understanding... BUT...the public doesn't pay attention to "behind the scenes" stuff. They just get pissed off. And you can't blame someone for being pissed off.

Same problem for me in my iPhone 5. Try to add games and sends me back to home. With that said thank you bisontracker!!

Fwiw, easy to understand why people who don't even have electricity hate us when we bitch about not having apps for android but have them for iphone. smh
