    Default Flanders gets some hype

SHSU RB Tim Flanders getting a(very brief) mention from Todd McShay. Hope he gets a shot. Since we've seen him first-hand twice now, thought I'd share:

I know Tim Flanders is good despite NDSU's defense making him look pretty average. Good luck to him.

That said, Richard Sincere has looked better in the small NDSU-related sample I've seen.

Flanders is too small and goes down to easily for the NFL.

I agree on the goes down too easy. He just doesn't seem real physical but, then again, I have only seen him play against Travis Beck and the rest of the Bison D so ...

tough for an RB to do much against the current NDSU defense unless he has a BCS-type line blocking for him.

I'm curious and excited to see how K-State does against us. Just two and a half more months!

How did Flanders do against Baylor and TAMU?

16 carries, 84 yards. 3 catches, 56 yards, 1 td receiving against Baylor.
21 carries, 64 yards, 1 td. 1 catch, 10 yards against TAMU. Not sure how much of that was after they were down 47-0.

Both games featured a SHSU fumble but I'm not sure who fumbled.

First time I ever heard of or saw Flanders, 2011 playoffs, 26 carries, 298 yards against Montana. He didn't look so good a few weeks later! I always root for FCS guys to make the NFL.
